Systems Engineer. DevOps specialist. Web, Mobile & Application Developer.

I am a highly qualified IT professional, sociable, articulate and effective communicator, with more than 10 years of increasing responsibility and leadership in the IT industry, primarily focused on DevOps and software configuration management. I have a deep understanding of source control management; building and deploying applications; management of web and database servers and cloud instances; troubleshooting build and deploy failures; implementing CI and CD pipelines; and maintaining environments and processes. I have excellent analytical; communication and impersonal skills and I can quickly learn and rapidly adapt to challenges. I also have vast experience on software development (both mobile and desktop applications), release management, giving training to end-users, website design and leading distributed agile development teams.

I graduated as a Computer Systems Engineer in 2008. Since 2009, I work with Accenture. Currently, I'm a Manager leading a DevOps team that supports the infrastructure of development environments for a core financial tool internal to the company, but, throughout my career at Accenture I also played significant roles such as Environment Management Lead, Release Management Lead, Deployment Lead, Defect Lead and Senior Software Architect.

During my formal higher education, between 2001 and mid-2009, I was an assistant teacher at the Engineering College of the National University of La Pampa, teaching Data Structures and Algorithms and as a support to students in the Computer Labs. In 2006 and 2017, I worked for the Communications Department of the Government of La Pampa, in the design and administration of a MAN/WAN network, including traffic analysis, control and shaping, security policies, firewalls and IDSs, QoS and VoIP.

From time to time I also like to code some apps and (re)design websites, and in my spare time I enjoy learning new programming languages and playing with technology gadgets.

9 May 2020 ∙ nodemp, an online multiplayer game framework made with nodeJS and SocketIO

This tutorial shows how to write a simple framework to host multiplayer games and play with your friends online.
I'll use nodeJS to create a web server and SocketIO for handling client-server communication. You'll only need basic web programming skills, especially in javascript, HTML and CSS. And, of course, some patience.

Source code:

16 May 2020 ∙ nodemp2, an online multiplayer game framework made with nodeJS and SocketIO (version 2)

  • The game controller (controller/game.js) has been extended to handle the whole game object. Players are now "part" of the game.
  • A game container has been added to the game UI and logic (client/index.html and client/game.js) to improve DOM manipulation

    Source code:

    25 May 2020 ∙ 4 games for nodemp2

  • Moved the original demonstration code to a "demo" folder inside the new "games" folder. This will contain other games.
  • Added 4 new games to the "games" folder: tic-tac-toe, 4-in-a-row, memory and Yatzy!
  • Added the ability to run server and host a specific game: npm start <game>, where game can be tictactoe, 4inarow, memory or yatzy

    Source code:
